Ahoj Everybody,

Today I had to buy again weekend ticket. But I did have only 2 100kč banknotes. So, I checked it again, it is possible (now) to buy it; after choosing ticket, inserted 100kč banknote, then pressed green "confirm" button (it is touch screen, so not button actually) and then inserted another 100kč and that was it. I printed me ticket and return 50kč (5x10). Not sure - maybe I missed this previously or maybe something "happened" after I reached DPMB.

Ahoj Everybody,

If you read my previously trip posts, you already know about weekend ticket, which applies all zones (except 100+100) in the Southern Moravia. 

We can buy it from any DPMB ticket sales points. But it is suitable most of the time to buy it in advance and sometime during none working hours. One options is to buy it from Information stand Joštov, near Česká station.

But, here are problems:

• It does not accept cards, despite it has card reader etc.
• In case buying weekend ticket (150 kč), you have insert only 200 kč paper bill, so it will return 50 kč coin back. This is only option that I know. I tried to pay 100 (paper) + 50 (coin) kč and vice verse,  NOPE - it cannot "handle" it. 

So, it does not do as much as it stands for...

Also, the stand is surrounded with metal paving. I can understand it s purpose. But if something like coin or similar size fall from your hand, then you will have to get "dirty". So be careful.

I will try to contact DPMB and inform them about it. Will not hold my breath, but at least we can get decent reply, maybe :).
