Warm adventure than name - Lednice

Ahoj Everybody,

This post if kinda follow-up of Valtice trip. Cause both of them part of The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape which is registered in the list of monuments protected as World Heritage Sites (WHS) by UNESCO. 

First, getting there from Brno. It is super easy. Example: R13 train departures from Brno main station at 08:36 and reaches Podivín at 09:07. At 09:20 bus departures  from Podivín, železniční stanice and reaches Lednice, náměstí in 10 minutes. Rest just walking. 

You will not feel alone, cause lots of people will be around. Cause the castle and garden are famous and also town located on bicycle route. So you will see also bike riders too. 

Once you are entered garden area, you will have to walk a lot. Because this garden is big. I believe it is one of the biggest gardens in ČR. 

There are 4 different guided tours of the castle. We took first one and it was marvelous. But due timing we had to wait more than hour before it started and we took a walk. At first I remembered The Flower Garden of Kroměříž, but then it felt different, as landscape is vast and different. 

Most funny and lovely part was that we saw a cat, yeah, a cat which probably lives there. She was clean, so someone takes care of her.

We followed her and fed. She was more that happy.

There are many track to walk, so cannot recommend one or another. Just feel free. There is lake, small bridges, cafes and some attractions (depending on time).

Well, after walk we had guided tour, which I mentioned earlier. And I think I will not be able express it as previous tours. YOU JUST HAVE TO GO AND SEE. Someone might say "Oh, all these castle are same and so on...". But as each has own history and stories, it feels different each time for us. 

After tour you can take visit galleries or have lunch - I recommend Restaurace U Tlustých. You will have enough time. Back route is same, starting at 12:32 from Lednice, náměstí as an example, if you started trip at 08:36.

By the way, probably you know already, "Lednice" means refrigerator in Czech. But trip was not "cold", it was memorable.
