Requests for extracts of criminal records

Ahoj Eveyone,

There are many posts about how to get extracts of criminal records, such as https://www.brnoexpatcentre.eu/2017/08/czech-post-office-2/, but as all my previous posts, I would like to lay down my experience with this.

So, you can get from any Czech Post office, which signed with CzechPoint. You don't need to be fluent in Czech, just ask "potřebuji výpis z rejstříku trestů", which means "I need an extract from the criminal record". You will have to provide ID (long-term residency, employee card etc.) or passport. In case of ladies, they will ask your birth last name, as usually last name is being changed after marriage. This is important, cause otherwise they will have to redo request.

They will give you paper of Request a result of manual processing (Žádost o výsledek manuálního zpracování). After 30 minutes, you can come back (or any other post office) with this paper and they print, sign and stamp "Requests for extracts of criminal records". The fee is 100 CZK.

Thank you for reading my story.
