Lamacentrum Hády

Ahoj All,

Finally, we visited Lama center in Hády (Lamacentrum). Whole visit was more interesting than anticipated, that I decided to post about it.

Firstly, getting there with public transportation; bus number 64 departures every 20 min from bus/tramp stop Životského (tram 8, 10,12) during weekends. Last stop is Červený písek. All stops are located in 100+101 zone, so your current (monthly or annual) subscribed ticket will be valid.

From Červený písek it will take approximately 15 min walk to the centrum. Just go up and you will see signs leading to Lamacentrum.

Before reaching it, you will be surrounded by variety of small trees, which will make you feel in some fairy tale forest. By the time you reach the top, behind you can see amazing view of City (hard to capture with photo)

Lamacentrum is surrounded mostly by rock wall. It makes this place uniq and reminds me villages from the PC game of "Age of Empire".

There are big fluffy rabbits, starring goats, confused sheeps and of course lamas with amazing hair style. Remember all of them waiting you to feed them, so buy some magnet as souvenir, it comes with food for them. Also, entrance for adults costs 50 CZK, bring cash.

I highly recommend to have umbrella in order cover yourself from sun hit. There is only one vending machine, but don't rely on it, bring own drink/snacks.
